One-on-One Personal Training program will provide you
with the motivation and direction you need to achieve your
fitness goals! Whether you are just getting started and
would really appreciate some personalized help beginning on
your road to success, or you have been working out for years
yet still not achieving your desired results, Personal
Training is the way to go.
Getting started at a club if you are new to working out can
be a little intimidating at first. There are many people who
feel uncomfortable and self-conscious when they don't know
how to use the equipment or what type of workout is right
for their body. That is why working with a personal trainer can
be the best thing you ever do when you're first getting
started. It can help ease your apprehensiveness, and get you
going in the right direction. It is a great way to set
yourself up to stick with a real workout plan that helps you
begin leading that healthy lifestyle that is so important to
you.
Sometimes even when we've been working out for a long time
we can get in a rut and need an expert to help us get better
results. Doing the same thing day in and day out leads to
burn out and also stagnates your fitness progress. Getting
with a Personal Trainer, taking a closer look at your
workout and making some educated, strategic changes can
create drastic changes in your body and health.
I am here to come along side you, to equip, motivate,
empower, and promote you. Empowered Health and Fitness
provides expert guidance and reliable health resources to
help you achieve your personal health and fitness goals.
ENDURANCE ~ Endurance exercise or endurance training
consists of performing low- to medium-intensity exercise for
long periods of time. For example: jogging or running,
cycling, spinning, boxing, swimming, and skiing.
Physical endurance is differentiated from other forms of
physical stress in that in endurance exercise it is not
solely fatigue of the muscles and cardiovascular system that
force the effort to end. The need for sleep, the buildup of
non-recyclable waste chemicals, the depletion of convertible
energy stores and other needed chemicals (e.g., water,
sodium), physical injury, or psychological failure can also
bring the effort to an end.
FLEXIBILITY ~ Provides anti-aging benefits, along with
aerobic endurance and muscle strength. Everyone can learn to
stretch, regardless of age or flexibility. ANY time is a
good time. As you age, your muscles tighten and your range
of motion becomes limited if you do not stretch regularly,
halting n active lifestyle, and even hindering your
day-to-day normal activities. A regular stretching program
can help lengthen your muscles and restore youthful
activity.
BALANCE ~ "Strength Through Balance" ~ Each year, U.S.
hospitals have 300,000 admissions for broken hips.
Frequently, falling is the cause for these fractures.
Strength and balance training, over time, will reduce your
risk of falling and give you a feeling of steadiness and
confidence when you engage in your daily activities. Balance
training can help you stay independent by helping you to
avoid a disability that may result from a fall. Literally, a
"balanced life" is a longer life. Yoga is an ideal way to
build strength, balance and flexibility.
STRENGTH ~ Strength training uses resistance methods like
free weights, weight machines, resistance bands, or your own
weight to build and preserve muscle. Powerlifting, which
people often think of when they think of weightlifting,
concentrates on how much weight a person can lift at one
time. Competitive bodybuilding involves evaluating muscle
definition and symmetry, as well as size.
Strength training, for both men and women, is a great way to
improve strength, endurance, and muscle tone. As your
Personal Fitness trainer we start slowly, use proper form,
avoid heavy weights, and increase workouts gradually to
prevent injury. Just a few short sessions a week will really
pay off — besides better muscle tone and definition, you may
find that you have more energy and focus.
WELL-BEING ~ Empowered Health and Fitness provides a wealth
of resources for your to promote your Well-Being. In
addition to Personal Fitness Training, we offer Raindrop
Therapy massage. You can find out more about Raindrop
Therapy Massage at: www.raindroptherapy.net

If you're ready to get started,
give me a call: 734-646-5582. I would love to get the
chance to meet with you and discuss your options, your
goals, your dreams and then be there with you every step of

schedule if you have a sense of accountability to another
person. That is why people who hire a personal trainer get
such amazing before and after results.
